Tongans Respond to All Blacks' Haka
10/05/08, 09:47

-1 for not being a large-forum Team No Respect dance, as I expected when the clip first started.
Jonathan Richman sings and talks
10/03/08, 20:48

His 'comeback' show at CB's in the late 70s is the punkest thing ever, from what I've read. He played to a crowd that wanted to hear "Roadrunner" and "She Cracked," but instead gave them "Hey There Little Insect" and "Abominable Snowman in the Market." The louder the crowd booed, the quieter Richman played, and he shushed the crowd between verses.

Trainspotting - Begbie's Story

Fantastic movie.
Like A Feather
10/02/08, 17:44

Big, dumb pop with soul clapping and a catchy-as-fuck beat.

Hoo-rah!
stupid dog does not realize there is no glass in the door
10/02/08, 17:20

The dog isn't stupid, he's following the rules that state that he can only go out when the guy opens the doorframe.

And Frank, if you think that the description "dog vs. force field" sucks, you might be at the wrong video site.
How bad will the Palin Biden debate be?
10/01/08, 08:24

That won't work after she and McCain said at the RNC that this election was "NOT ABOUT THE ISSUES."
Koko Meets Mr. Rogers
09/29/08, 22:12

Yes, I was looking for that moment, too.

But I'll make up for the missing star by adding one for the simple fact that this meeting is like a grand summit of figures important to me in my early childhood. Seriously, to me circa 1981, this is like FDR and Churchill.

I've been meaning to add some Coaltar stuff for weeks...
The Hellstrom Chronicle - Entire Film
09/25/08, 21:55

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for posting this. I've been lookling for it on videotape/dvd since about 91, when my dad first told me about it.
Restaging of the 1913 Version of Stravinsky's 'Rite of Spring'

Great find!
James Brown's Celebrity Hot Tub Party
09/19/08, 13:46

One of my all-time favorite SNL skits, for its absolutely resolute randomness.
George Brett apparently poops his pants a lot
09/19/08, 13:20

My childhood hero and namesake of my teddy bear, ladies and gentlemen!
Are You Gonna Go My Way
09/18/08, 13:57

Also not a huge Lenny Kravitz fan.
Na-re-ba-i-i
09/17/08, 13:22

Holy living fuck. Why didn't I look for Spiders footage on Youtube?

I think I thought the song was called "Nati Bati Yi" when I used to play it on my radio show in high school.
Billy Idol talks about 'Cyberpunk'
09/17/08, 12:06

To be fair, it's good that he would, as it's an album at which I would fire a bullet.
Born Slippy NUXX
09/16/08, 12:41

This is the only song for which (this incarnation of) Underworld has made the lyrics available to fans.
Tugboat (Live)
09/16/08, 12:36

thank you for posting this.
Joe Biden
09/16/08, 08:31

If only EBN still existed, we'd have a track from them with a chorus of Joe Biden saying "PLEASE HELP ME, PLEASE HELP ME...I'm being beaten."

Fantastic stump speech.
Doo Wop (That Thing)
09/14/08, 12:44

That Fugees single made me really sad because it seemed like she had resigned herself to getting back together with two much-less-talented guys and pretending that she'd never put out her solo album in the first place.
Doo Wop (That Thing)

I really miss the feeling of excited anticipation regarding "the next album" following the release of this one.
