I am really disappointed in you guys dedication to Flintstiones EU material. I hate to split hairs here, but after Gazoo betrayed fred and threw him in the orbital space detetion facility at the end of Flintstones: First Contact, Barney and future Dino (affectionately known by fans as mechaDino) made an alliance with Space Jesus, whom they had originally contacted using the Monolith beacon in Flintstones: Dying of the Light. |

Notes from an Impartial Observer:
-If watched all in sequence, these become a hypnotic odyssee into darkness, absolutely captivating, perhaps the best thing the Onion has ever done...good times, well played
-The Onion sucks big dicks for the most part these days, most of their humor being wasted on forced, unfunny "dry" sketches that are saturated with poorly written jokes and extreme overuse of "fucking" as the emphatic adjective of choice. This clip above is not exactly what they are known for, but nonethelesss, I would consider it a unilateral success. Way better than anything else they have put out in recent memory, including the TED parodies which are funnier in concept then they are in execution.
-If you like this and you think Tim & Eric is stupid, you need to take a long hard look in the mirror my friend. Brand loyalty isnt something to be proud of.

True story: I watched this on natgeo and was, like many, captivated by this pathetic, quivering creature enough to look up him up on the internet. There is, somewhere on the WWW, a forum of people who no joke banded together and have campaigned over an extended period of time to actually make his life easier, because of what they saw of him on television. I found it more or less mind blowing that people would take the side of a felon they had never met and petition the state to set him free and generally regard him as a saintly ne'er do well who was merely the victim of circumstance. I cite the old adage "don't do the crime if you can't do the time" as a representation of my opinion on the issue, but no shit this is a shockingly frank example of how people like to let reality television influence their lives.
