The ending of Remember Me (2010)

It's so traumatic it caused a crash to desktop.
It's a long and time honored tradition in cinema where if you know your shitty romance or coming of age movie sucks, attempt to attach it to some sort of traumatic event. Half of the terrible European movies I was forced to watch in college were coming of age movies about boys getting gay with each other by some perv director who tried to make it legit by mentioning the French Algerian war in the background.
The Dreamers was a movie by a perv director about a brother and sister's incestuous relationship trying to be legit with a couple of scene spliced in about the 1960s Paris revolution.
Nothing You Have is Private was a movie by a perv director about middle aged men chasing after a 13 year old girl, so he tried to pass it off as meaningful by making her Arab and mentioning the Gulf War in the background. Then he decided that wasn't enough so he renamed it "Raghead" so suddenly it wasn't a pervy movie anymore, it was about RACISM (but no it was still about middle age men having sex with 13 year old girls). |

The drawing and animation was noticeably better. The later seasons never recycled shitty early footage (why would they?). Judge hadn't gotten the voices down yet, and the jokes are shittier.
