Please tell me how this "no action in corporate interest" policy would work or be legally worded.

Someone asking if you're a gamer is as pointlessly dumb as asking DO YOU LIKE MOVIES/MUSIC? Ditto with identifying yourself as so.

LA GUYZ-- featuring up and coming comedians Eric and Tim

T&E aren't even worth the effort to come up with amusing ways to describe how talentless they are anymore.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (trailer)
12/21/11, 12:51

No one who read the books had much of an idea what was going on in the movies other then "Elijah Wood has to toss a ring into a volcano." What is this wooden log city? Who's this old king? What's the marble city? Who are the horse guys and the robin hood guys?

Then the utterly invincible fellowship sucked all tension out. The only decent part in the entire trilogy was that Minas battle where the fellowship wasn't around to ruin it...up until they did with the utterly invincible ghost army.

Every change Jackson made seems to have been for the worse.

This series is on Netflix Instant right now, but is getting yanked in February along with all of Starz's other content. Catch it while you can.

Stalingrad, a pro-war pro-Nazi propaganda flick.

I'm curious what most kids' reaction was to this movie.

I just needed another director so it wasn't just a Lucas prequels comparison. Spielberg was the only thing that came to mind.

Though you have to admit he's nowhere his 80s material.
Trekkies: The First Generation
12/18/11, 11:33

Call me an old man, but it's funny watching an older generation of sci-fi fans liking something for its actual themes and observations on the human condition versus current nerd culture of regurgitating memes and arguing over technical details.
Metal Gear Solid 4 in a nutshell

So much of it could be salvaged if they just took out all the damned pauses. Character will pause between every line, pace the room, pause some more, do a cartwheel, then pause before a grunt before pausing again for what would have been a 5 second sentence for the first game.

NOT passing a truck you cannot see past on a two lane, two way road while traveling at highway speeds in snowy conditions. Yeah who would ever think to do that in the moment?

Most of it was ineptly trying to xerox the same scenes from the original, while at the same time making the paranoia only a small portion of the story. Too much people running and hiding from monsters (how much of the original was made up of that? 20 seconds?). Monsters would purposely disappear at the last moment so the person could let out a sigh of relief before it popped up again and killed them.

They actually have tense violins playing only for a friend to jump out and yell BOO. The only thing missing was a cat startling them.

The 80s version was great because right from the opening scene it was a constant stream of what the shit events thrown at the characters, characters who you learn everything there is to know with a quick 30 second overview of the base.

The prequel's first 20 minutes were boring filler taken straight from Aliens vs Predator's intro. The last 20 minutes are almost shot for shot lifted from Alien vs Predator's ending.

Aliens vs Predator was not a good movie.

FUCK! I was looking for this to submit years ago but could never find a decent copy on youtube.

You'd have to reach for Lucas and Spielberg to find another director on Robert Zemeckis' level for creating brilliant shit in the 80s, followed by crap in the 90s, followed by utterly losing their mind by the 00s.

The saddest part of this (beside its existence) is not the tired child's drawings bit, but the fact that he had to rip off a page from his trapper keeper and show that he could do better. If it was a barely competent drawing of a person it'd at least be keeping in line with the joke, but he actually wanted to show off his ability to draw a Rob Liefeld tank.

Unfunny awkward dork making a living out of an unfunny braggart persona? He's the Tucker Max of internet humor. Go search for some video interviews of Tucker Max. He has the exact same brand of "can't back it up awkwardness" where he unconvincingly recites his meticulously memorized fictional stories about his CRAZY college adventures.

You really think Seanbaby's personality and presence is on the same level as Maddox?

That's all kinds of wrong, but I'm curious to hear why someone would think so.

5 years? His brand of internet humor hasn't been relevant since 1998, back when ANYONE with a website got famous. He's even more of a dinosaur than Something Awful and 10 year old webcomics.
newly discovered variety of south african cockroach leaps rapturously

The script still would have sucked.

They should have just re released the 80s version.
