He's not a who, he's a what: a confidence man pretending to be a rich man in order to impress some marks. He spent $40 on a fruit plate because some other people gave him that money expecting him to show them how to become as wealthy and successful as he must be since he's such a carefree big spender. It's a classic.
They're just a lot lazier about it nowadays because they can flee to some foreign locale BEFORE talking people out of their money, thereby avoiding any risk of mob justice, tar & feathers, etc. |

A billionaire sperg would be a happy person, because they could spend their life quietly pursuing whatever obsessive hobby takes their interest. Designing light rail systems or collecting specific artifacts or birdwatching or something. The English upper class is loaded with them.
With billionaire dynasties, it's the psychopaths you have to worry about. They're not going to spend their productive years in jail like Your One Crazy Cousin, they're going to wind up in a position of great power and influence. |

There's something inadvertently brilliant about the "solemnly addressing the camera as you hold it unsteadily" VictimCam style, it gives the audience the same POV as a bound and gagged prisoner struggling to maintain consciousness. All it's missing is some muffled whimpering. Go back and watch it again, you can't un-see it. |
