Maybe it's just me, but out of all events occurring in Iraq, I don't think some kids dropping a bug onto some other bugs really rates all that high on the Evil Meter. There's a subtle point here.
Also, I don't think the spider was harmed, and I don't think it's even possible to be cruel to fire ants. |

"These ants are well-known in Australia for their aggressive behavior and powerful stings. These large, alert ants have characteristic large eyes and long, slender mandibles and they have superior vision, able to track and even follow intruders from a distance of 1 meter." They're poisonous and will jump several inches to get to you when they attack.
The spider itself is probably the worlds deadliest, large and unusually aggressive, its inch long fangs can pierce your shoe to inject neurotoxins. |

Fatal diving accident at the 'Blue Hole,' Egypt

Thats the impression I got. He was wearing diving weights, and probably figured he'd go down and get out really fast, but the narcosis hit him like 12 shots of whiskey and he got entangled and panicked. I don't know anything about diving, but apparently it's way to deep there to breathe regular air but people try anyways.
There are a few other Blue Hole vids, I didn't submit one because it was rather gruesome.. you can see a dead divers skeleton feet. Apparently the floor of the hole is littered with careless divers bodies, and mixed-gas divers like to go down and check them out. I think one of the reasons they were trying to recover bodies was to keep other divers from going down to mess with them. |
