Korla Pandit Trance Dance
07/20/12, 19:21 According to Wikipedia he's African-American (or maybe biracial, which seems very plausible to me). |

Cat in Green Bowl with Large Glasses
07/16/12, 22:59 The tag should be shironekoshiro. (Easy enough to transpose letters while writing it). |
 |
At the Suicide of the Last Jew in the World in the Last Cinema in the World
06/27/12, 12:45 Might edit the tag to read David Cronenberg (with an E). |

Millicent Martin performs Mississippi song on That Was The Week That Was, 1963
06/26/12, 19:27 Is it just me, or does the tune basically turn into "Springtime for Hitler" for a few bars when the guys in minstrel blackface show up? |

Singing woman covered in nutella wearing bananas
06/12/12, 02:31 Would a "Josephine Baker" tag be too tasteless? |
 |
Bronies are not man-baby or autistic (proof)
06/06/12, 16:59 I don't know, do we have a "Cena_mark" tag? |

a tiny pig descends some stairs to eat oatmeal
06/06/12, 16:57 Potbellied pigs average more like 130-150lbs. Or are there new mutants out there? |

The Mikado (1987)
05/27/12, 22:57 Edward Gorey designed some costumes that combined Japanese and Victorian English elements to nice effect:
http://www.goreyography.com/west/PLAY/Mikado.htm
Also, I'd seen a Los Angeles production of this Mikado with Dudley Moore in for Eric Idle. He wasn't bad at all. |

Groucho Marx in 'The Mikado'
05/27/12, 13:59 Is there a really memorable song from Patience? I haven't seen Princess Ida or Iolanthe but I have still heard "If you give me your attention" and "The Nightmare" and remember them (even if I don't always remember their proper titles). |

The Viper is Coming
05/16/12, 14:52 I think this was one of the only GI Joe eps I ever watched all the way through. I'd heard a similar gag on Dr. Demento and found myself thinking "Are they really going to use that punchline? Oh. Heh." |

LEE PRIEST: HERO
05/09/12, 10:13 Is the last tag supposed to be "bodybuilding"? |
 |
The Dot & the Line: A Romance in Lower Mathematics
05/03/12, 18:40 Maybe a "Robert Morley" tag would suffice. |
 |
The Hobbit (1977 Rankin & Bass version)
05/03/12, 14:07 The voice casting on this is fun. John Huston as Gandalf and Brother Theodore as Gollum are great choices, Otto Preminger is pure WTF, and some of the veteran voice actors end up using voices you heard elsewhere (listen to John Stephenson as the Grand Goblin. He's basically Mr. Slate). |

The Epic That Never Was
04/27/12, 15:29 Hey, if they could "restore" London After Midnight into a kind of slide show, I'm sure people would watch a clip-package I, Claudius just for the What Could Have Been factor. |

Obnoxious pseudo-intellectual equate internet memes with downfall of society
04/25/12, 18:38 Guess he never read Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds, which had a whole chapter about this sort of thing.
IN 1841.

Van-Pires
04/25/12, 14:54 I saw an episode of this one Sunday morning and wondered if I'd ever be able to convince people it existed. |

Dick Tracy - Snow Job
04/21/12, 23:38 When was 1960 a golden age for cartoons? |

Lyrebird doing his thing
04/17/12, 02:04 At around 3:30 it sounds like he's imitating one of the workers whistling. |

Largest Rube Goldberg Machine - World Record
04/11/12, 19:33 I wish the camera'd gotten in a little closer (and that that doofy guy didn't step in front of said camera near the end). |

WHAR JESUS WHAR?
04/02/12, 15:04 I get the feeling that a lot of "War on Christmas" types are lazy/hypocritical/[insulting adjective of choice] enough to only throw a big hissy-fit on Christmas (which often makes the news) but actually don't seem to give much of a damn about Easter (which is strange because you'd think it, and Good Friday, would be much more important from a theological standpoint). |
