Jurassic Park Theme Song (Melodica Cover)
02/05/12, 00:12 Are you honestly going to defend the new Conan movie?
Seriously? |

Jurassic Park Theme Song (Melodica Cover)
02/05/12, 00:10 Not a harmonica, a melodica. It's like the keytar of harmonicas.
And I'm not railing against Tim & Eric & particular. It's just that this trend of deliberately doing mediocre things in a half-assed unpolished manner as a way of showing you're "outside the mainstream" is really starting to piss me off. |

Yeah, I thought that was funny, too...the first time I saw it done about five years ago on YTMND. |

New Old Spice ad: 'Vending Machine'
02/04/12, 14:32 But see, this is why I harbor such a deep hatred for things like "Tom Goes to the Mayor" and "Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job".
Tim & Eric can be good if they apply themselves. They can make good, entertaining stuff that I enjoy watching and yet choose to devote most of their energies towards making a "nightmare" version of television.
We don't need a "nightmare" version of television. We already have it. It's called regular television. We have actual shows about pricks buying abandoned junk in storage lockers and selling it. We have shows about celebrities acting like loathsome pieces of shit. We have shows about tin-foil-hat conspiracy theories on a network that used to pride itself on its educational value.
Jesus Christ, enough, already. Make more things like this and stop cranking out shit that just makes viewers uncomfortable. |

Jurassic Park Theme Song (Melodica Cover)
02/04/12, 14:21 No. No. I am putting my foot down right here, right now.
Deliberately making things that suck and are not entertaining is no longer acceptable and should not be encouraged. Fuck this. Fuck assholes like Tim & Eric for making things like this popular.
There are plenty of awful things in the media without contributing to the awfulness on purpose. |

From China, IL.
02/02/12, 20:21 I've warmed up to it. The "Secret Society" episode seems to be the high water mark, so far. |

Romney: 'I'm Not Concerned With The Very Poor'
02/02/12, 18:15 Wow...it's like triage practiced by battlefield medics.
"Hmm...this guy's a goner. Pump him full of morphine and leave him in that corner over there."
"This guy's just got a few bruises and scratches. He'll be fine."
"This guy's shot, but we can save him. Let's devote precious resources to him." |

Flying People in New York City
02/02/12, 17:52 Yeah, it was pretty cool until it revealed itself to be viral marketing for what looks like it will be a mediocre movie. |

Dwarf rabbit herding a flock of sheep
02/02/12, 17:47 If you knew what that rabbit does to the sheep while nobody is looking, you'd understand why they run from it. |

I wonder how they would handle it if I had a leaf blower. |

Sheep Cyclone
02/01/12, 18:16 I hope they never fix that. It's ever so much fun to send critters in mine carts rocketing down tracks of doom. |

Holy fuck. |

Japanese person shows off their Re-ment (mini fake food) collection
01/31/12, 17:43 I was just wondering about the process behind manufacturing such small yet complex objects.
I remember an old episode of Saturday Night Live with John Malkovich (I think) as a guy who made tiny ceramic food for dollhouses. When the interviewer asked if it was hard making something like rice, he replied "Yes, it's almost not worth it." |

01/30/12, 19:36 What wonderfully detailed tiny things.
Are there any videos of these things being crafted? |

Suggestion Thread
01/30/12, 18:17 Well, it's your call and I can certainly understand your position, given recent events. I just wanted to make a final appeal to reinstate the most attractive feature on this group of sites. True, there were a lot of negative elements, but I think there was enough positive there to make it worth trying to save. The forums, more than anything else, were what kept me coming back.
It's probably for the best, though. The root of the problem was really just a small group of people. Their viewpoint was "If you disagree with me on any point, you are a horrible person, therefore any abuse I inflict on you is totally justified." It's like a religious crusade with them and, frankly, I don't think any amount of policing, post deletions or bans will fix that and will, in fact, only serve to exacerbate the situation by giving them cause to feel "unjustly" persecuted.
Ah, well. |

Suggestion Thread
01/29/12, 22:34 How about a separate forum for discussion? Leave the comment feature for the video page itself, but limit it to a smaller character size.
That way, casual visitors can watch the videos and read the short snarky remarks while people who want to get into more in-depth discussions can do so without cluttering up the video page. |
