"Which brings me to the crux of the matter as to why I and so many others are so incensed by this case. From the beginning McDonalds has steadfastly denied ANY responsibility for Louis’s alleged ‘injuries’. They have even stated that Louise was responsible for her assault and rape and was even in on the hoax call to get money.
1. This was a company owned restaurant.
2. McDonalds knew that these hoax calls from someone claiming to be the police had been occurring for ten years.
3. Louise was strip searched illegally by McDonalds managers in the manager’s office against her will and was prevented from leaving.
4. Louise’s clothes, purse and keys were taken from her and locked in a vehicle in the parking lot.
5. Donna Summer asked Walter Nix to ‘watch’ Louise and do what the caller said and then failed to protect Louise from him.
6. It is a violation of McDonalds policy to have a non-employee in the office.
7. McDonalds training manual said nothing about the calls nor that strip searches are illegal for any reason.
8. Donna Summer, a McDonalds paid manager failed to call her District manager until after Walter Nix had raped Louise and then gone home and did so only after another employee was directed by the caller to look at Louise naked.
9. He refused to do so after 25 minutes with Louise and the caller then hung up.
10. The real police were called much later and Nix was arrested.
11. The company falsified Louise’s time card to make it seem she was still punched-in.
12. Company lawyers made-up bogus and misleading witness statements.
13. Supervisors attempted to destroy the surveillance tape of Louise’s ordeal."

From the Wiki article: "The victim, Louise Ogborn, is suing McDonald's for $200 million for failing to protect her during her ordeal.[5] The civil trial is scheduled to begin Monday, September 10, 2007. The victim is represented by well known Louisville attorney, Ann B. Oldfather[1]."
