Actually, Glenn, the last time we had a technological revolution while progressives were in charge was the 90's. Advent of the internet, cell phones, personal computers for all. This resulted in prosperity, not Nazis.
That was just a fluke, though. Next time someone does science while there's a liberal in the White House, we'll all be swarmed by robot armies, who will harvest white children for fuel. |

Cobra Commander's not such a bad guy. Sure, he's a terrorist, but he paid for his pilots to have the best goddamn ejector seat system ever built. Cobra's got dudes parachuting safely out of planes even AFTER they explode. They really value safety in that organization.
Also, most of Cobra's terrorist plans involve stuff like sending a dude to wipe GI Joe's windows or forming a terrible rock band. So in the grand scheme they're basically Team Rocket with lasers. |

It depends on the production, really. Disney did a wonderful job with Wreck it Ralph (one of the best movies I saw last year, seriously) because they just turned Rich Moore loose and let him do his thing. In fairness, it wasn't entirely his concept, as Disney had been trying to get an animated "life inside a video game" movie off the ground since at least the early 90's.
On the other hand, some of their other productions (like the upcoming Frozen) bear little to no resemblance to what they were before they were torn to shreds by studio notes from the execs upstairs. |

People who are forever in search of excuses to complain about this show have latched on to the Lady Gaga episode like her very presence automatically ruins everything. She's a Big Celebrity of the Moment, and the show has been having people like that on since day one. At worst, she's about the 800th middle-of-the-road-quality pop star to guest on the show. Not exactly the end of the world. |
