The church is having a lot of issues with fewer people than ever volunteering for the priesthood, fewer donations, and tons of people dropping out of the church. But their solution is always to shame us, and kind of just whine about how we're not doing right by them. They never even consider the possibility that the problem might be their unwillingness to change.
I can't think of a more efficient way to get people to stop caring about Catholicism than to send them to Catholic school. |

Actually, an absolutely horrible live action Justice League TV movie was produced in the 90's. The producers decided not to include Superman or Batman, because the heroes kids REALLY want to see are Ice Maiden and The Atom.
In 2007 there was also an aborted movie that Warner Bros. sank millions into before the whole project collapsed. It pretty much was greenlit solely to beat Avengers to the big screen. |

The Brits seem to love their laugh tracks. The laugh track is slowly dying in the US, but I'm having a hard time thinking of a British comedy show that doesn't use it. Of course, my access to them is limited since I'm on the wrong side of the Atlantic, but still.
It's always weird to hear laughter in Mitchell and Webb since a lot of the sketches are obviously shot in multiple locations, so there couldn't possibly be a studio audience watching the whole thing. |
