They'd been planning this since Iron Man was in pre-production (there's a teaser for Avengers at the end of that film, after the credits.)
It just feels kind of cynical to me, I guess. I quite liked both Iron Mans, and Thor and Captain America were decent, but smooshing them all together seems to lessen each film somehow. |
