Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith - Nooooo

When I saw this, the entire theater erupted into maniacal cheering when the Vader mask was put on, but then for the rest of the movie was nothing but stunned silence, including this scene.

Irreducible Complexity Cut Down to Size

Generally the rule of thumb with creationists is that they know these things, but figure repeating a lie long enough and loud enough will achieve the results they want, which is unfortunately true.

Basically, all creationism boils down to using ludicrous logic to negate most science, mostly the "it all can't be replicated in a lab so it's wrong" argument which is ultimately where the trail usually leads.

I'm not sure I agree with taxpayer abortion either. I mean, if we abort all taxpayers, who will pay taxes?

NO TO THE OBAMA OGENDA.
Freemason Satanist gangstalkers are witches, clones and robotoids and can shapeshift
11/30/10, 17:35

It never ceases to amaze me the level of weird, cognitive dissonance that exists in the whole "OMG GANGSTALKING" community. Basically they film or take pictures of everyone they come across, accuse them of shit, then post it to the internet. They become well-known loony scourge people of their own neighborhoods effectively living every day one step away from getting their asses kicked by people fed up with their shit, yet they fail to see how THEY are the actual stalkers and harassers.

I think this is officially the last Zucker movie that was actually good. The sequels were pretty weak, and everything else they've touched has either sucked or been a product of their cocksuckery..er..I mean...9/11 republicanism.
Christopher Hitchens and Tony Blair debate
11/29/10, 15:53

Hitchens doesn't rebut it directly in lieu of taking on other issues, but he's probably exhausted from doing it. In the last three or four debates he's had to recite VERBATIM the following speech:

Christopher Hitchens and Tony Blair debate
11/29/10, 15:50

Hitchens is only a prick when he debates pricks. As for arrogance, Hitchens has already dealt with that one in many debates, basically that anti-theists deserve some arrogance and credit since they've been the least of the world's problems, yet are always the once asked to go on the defensive when religion comes up. (oh, be respectful, please!) When do people do that for the other side?

Oh wait, nevermind, this version truncates the opening remarks...yes, start with this one.
Christopher Hitchens and Tony Blair debate
11/29/10, 03:34

I watched this whole thing when it first hit the internet. I've seen most of Hitchens' debates, at least from the last few years, and I was looking forward to this thinking it would be probably the most erudite of his debates (the majority of the ones he's been doing recently are against some of the biggest moron crackpots in religious that come out of the woodwork) but overall it's disappointing. Blair never seems prepared with where the debate heads, I'm not sure what he was expecting, but everyvtime he speaks, it is practiced, political-style speech making that never really touches well on the serious issues. He's passionate, but it's subdued and bland. Hitchens, as always, is powerful and, towards the end, incredibly profound (something that's been a staple of his more recent debates) and it seems almost too easy for him.
By the way, skip part 1 and just head to 2, where the debate actually begins. Part 1 is the overlong and massively boring opening remarks by the people you totally wanted to hear from the most, the moderators!

I think it more refers to this sort of thing being a "first world problem" and that are people literally engorged with this much useless, empty free time that they are able to do this kind of shit, yet still sound as if their work is incomplete.
Russia Today - 'Who the Hell You Think You Are?'

Yeah, cut through the accent and semi-eloquence, he's basically just using a similar tea party esque argument because of the Irish bank bailouts.
