This guy's voice kind of reminds me of the Indian/generic Middle Eastern guy the Jerky Boys used to do.
But, yeah, he's a fucking idiot. Big surprise. Like most die-hard ignorant theists he knows, like, a few little things he remembers from elementary school about astronomy, but nothing else, including the vastly differing schools of thought on a whole bunch of issues, and just lumps everything together in one foul swoop. |

I don't know if I'd put it behind Temple, but I too am also a fan of Temple and do not understand the hate for it. And yeah, definitely least pretentious and, in my opinion, probably the most accurate to the pulp serial origins/ideas that Lucas/Spielberg wanted to do in the first place.
But, yeah, great scene except for the wincingly bad miniature they used for the burning of all the nazi soldiers. |

Well, it also explained the whole thing about the video having Latin in it. But yeah....I remember an American Cinematographer article specifically saying it was something weird about the ship time-travelling into the past, then coming back with some demon from the middle ages or something like that. |
