Fat Knight in Shining Armor
06/06/08, 00:24 That was not a criticism, just so you know. |

Tourette's Guy: Bird in the House
06/05/08, 21:30 Also, just as an aside: No one thinks Tourette's Guy is real. No one EVER thought Tourette's Guy was real. Except idiots.
No one, except the people ripping off the videos and putting them on their accounts ever tried to seriously pass them off as real. The original ones were presented in this "Look at these videos I found of a fucked up family" but they never made any attempt to really convince people this was a real person with real Tourette's.
This guy was doing videos before the TG series (which, as far as I know, are impossible to find now) where he just talked into the camera as a normal guy and would then suddenly shift into yelling and cussing without the shirt or neck brace thing. My guess is him and his friends/family figured out this shit on their own and the rest is history. I'm thinking some of it is improvisational, and there's a few videos where they almost break character because what they're making up is so funny.
If he is really dead, that sucks, but my guess is they just wanted to stop doing it. |

Crystalis commercial for play on the Nintendo Entertainment System
06/05/08, 20:45 Wait...did I go into bizarro-world? When did Crystalis become a good game? It was hated by nearly everyone when it originally came out and is generally regarded as one of SNKs shittier NES games next to maybe Athena. |

Tourette's Guy: Bird in the House
06/05/08, 20:39 I didn't say it was the best. I said it was my favorite.
Take your internet phrase memes and BEGONE! |

Hit and run caught on traffic camera.
06/05/08, 20:37 My theory is that the two cars were racing/chasing....something of that nature. They seem very sure or their purpose; usually in hit and runs the person at least hits the breaks or reacts to the accident THEN leaves. These guys didn't even try to stop, they were headed for that turn together and didn't even flinch. |

Hit and run caught on traffic camera.
06/05/08, 19:41 This happened in Hartford Conneticut yesterday, I believe, and it's fucked in so many ways. Guy is probably going to die, if not already dead. I realize it's graphic, but I didn't submit this as some "OH COOL" kind of thing and it's also being shown, uncut repeatedly, all over network and cable news. |

Zinc Oxide and You

And how dare anyone question the TRUE best part of this film, Fistful of Yen? |

Office Worker Meltdown - Second Angle
06/05/08, 18:07 I was kind of joking, actually. SORRY TO PSYCH YOU GUYZ OUT.
The funny thing is all this monitor talk made me think about what would happen if I tried to throw monitors where I work and it occurred to me it probably would be pretty easy. No one connects them very well, and I don't think anyone even knows you can screw them in. So, if I were to wig out like this, I'd be set. |

Iron Man's Adventures
06/05/08, 15:53 See, why can't they just make an Avengers movie like this? This and those animations from the Ultimate Alliance games were way better than I think anyone could have ever hoped they'd be. |

Phat Girlz in 90 Seconds
06/05/08, 15:46 This clip clearly does not do justice to the film's larger theme of how real size-positivity and accepting yourself should also mean having a constant, active prejudice for people different than you! |

Free Energy Explained
06/05/08, 00:53 Well, from what I saw, the biggest hurdle is that 1.) it really doesn't output much rotation...certainly not enough to generate a charge of any greatness and 2.) the magnetic fields would interfere with each other, wouldn't they? |

Zero Punctuation - Oblivion
06/05/08, 00:25 Eh, kind of an old complaint, really. But yeah, it always boggled my mind why this multi-million dollar project couldn't have afforded more voices or how Bethesda honestly thought having hundreds of people, including core characters, with the same voices would be a good idea. Then, to compound that mistake with Shivering Isles where there's only two new voices.
In terms of immersion overall, I disagree with most of this. One of the biggest things anyone can do to improve their experience in Oblivion, in my opinion, is to not use fast travel. The world feels much more like a world when you travel in it using normal means the majority of the time. I also found the game to be more fascinating when I "role played" a little bit, and did things like trying to get regular sleep and meals and changing into normal clothes when I was going to be spending a lot of time in a city, things like that. It's a fun little sandbox if you let it me, even without mods. |

Office Worker Meltdown - Second Angle
06/05/08, 00:19 Ok, I hereby rescind what I said before. I now think there's a good chance this is real.
Are they speaking Russian? Sounds like Russian. |

Tourette's Guy - Salt
06/04/08, 23:15 The very essence of short and sweet.
Tourette's Guy was one of the rare internet series/meme things that was earnestly funny, yet stupid. |

Free Energy Explained
06/04/08, 20:32 Where is the explanation exactly?
"If you move magnets around, energy comes out of it or some shit."
What? I looked at some of their schematics and ideas, and basically it looks like their idea is making gears that rotate under the force of permanent magnets using different polarities. |

Crystalis commercial for play on the Nintendo Entertainment System
06/04/08, 20:24 Definitely a dupe from yon olden days (might not even be in the search system) but a classic, nonetheless. |
