Actually, judging from the related videos, this might not be the original dub. It looks like redubbing things badly in Finnish or whatever with their own dialogue has become this repeated meme. Sort of the like the Downfall video with different subtitles. |

Thing with MST, though, is that "worst" is pretty much interchangeable with "best." Monster A Go Go in incredible in that it is such an anti-movie, and then throws in the deliciousness of that bizarre ending that genuinely lends an extra something to it.
For those unaware, the movie basically came about because H.G. Lewis needed a second movie for a double feature with another one of his movies, and so he took the reels for this one (which was unfinished by infamous B-movie crap-master Bill Rebane) and just edited it together with some new actors mixed in and narration to fill in the gaps, and back then that kind of thing would work and make a profit on a double bill of horror movies. |

I think by default the difference engine is considered steampunk because William Gibson and Bruce Sterling wrote a book about it together and they could pretty much write a book about a toaster and have toasters become the name-dropped, steampunk cyber whatever thing for the next 10 years.

The Ghost Busters intro (1975)

This is the reason why the GB cartoon (based on the movie) was called "The REAL Ghostbusters", because of a long legal battle about the copyrights and who had the rights to call what Ghostbusters, etc... Right as the movie popularity was at it's height, some company resurrected THIS Ghost Busters and made it into a cartoon with many aspects that were similar to the movie (but still rooted in this original version with the ape and everything) and even started putting out merchandise for it. Anyway, when the dust settled, they got that little dig in by calling the cartoon based on the movie, REAL Ghostbusters.
