I have eaten there a handful of times and never really had any issues, apart from the wait staff occasionally being way too over-eager to look as if they're having the time of their lives while stifling their hate. What's interesting about Clockwork Orange is that Burgess probably didn't really intend it to be a condemnation of state-sponsored anything, but rather a story about how an awful person can eventually make himself better if given the chance. Kubrick thought this was really dumb, so he opted to make the movie an accurate, dispassionate translation of the book and then remove the inferred ending of the book where Alex is getting tired of being his old self and would rather just live a normal life. Kubrick, rightly, thought this ending was totally at odds with his character and wanted to make the movie largely about how Alex is an asshole, but just about everyone surrounding him throughout his life are also assholes, which is way more darkly comic than the novel. The fact that the prison chaplain is pretty much the only genuinely "nice guy" was probably meant to be funny, but Burgess tried to parlay that into some pro-Christian thing that it showed that religion probably could have reformed Alex had the state not stepped in. |

Burgess didn't really hate the movie, he just had issues with Kubrick personally because Kubrick didn't want to make the movie into quite the moral parable that Burgess wanted it to be. Kubrick also didn't really keep Burgess as a "friend" for very long after the making of the film which sort of pissed him off. |

She gets endless shit on her videos because LOL YOU'RE UGLY yet she soldiers on ahead making her videos and indulging her weird sense of humor despite people leaving 100+ comment threads about how retarded she is and how they would never fuck her or whatever (which is 80 times creepier than anything SHE does). Some people on YT deserve a lot of the shit they get, and then there's some people who are basically pretty bland, uninteresting, and harmless but yet provoke the most disgusting reactions from people. |

Serious Holocaust deniers do it in order to make Nazism somehow more palatable as a political ideology and to try and sway younger people into thinking there's some mass conspiracy to make Nazis look way worse than they ever were (which, in and of itself, is pretty hilarious when you think about it). I seriously doubt any of the hardcore deniers actually believe the shit they're trying to sell, but if they push it hard enough, I guess they figure that more people will be openly Nazi if the REALLY awful things weren't true.
A lot of it is also just good old fashioned antisemitism: "The Jews all got together and made it look like the mean old Germans murdered them all and now everyone feels sorry for them. Something a JEW would do!"
Unfortunately, serious Holocaust revision runs into a few points that are very, very hard for them to get around, primarily the claim that Jews simply "left" Germany en masse which, if that were the case, would mean that millions of Jews would have been absorbed into surrounding countries which, of course, they weren't. Deniers also love to do all sorts of math to prove that the sheer amounts of people killed were impossible to perform by human standards which is interesting since the Nazis also did all sorts of math to work out how they COULD do it, and did so. |
