Big O opening #2
07/10/11, 20:42 I never thought I'd say "that robot looks good with salmon detailing", and yet there it is. It's really not a combination of words that you'd expect to encounter. |

Bronies at Anthrocon

Parks and Rec: Ron Swanson VS Food

Namor: Dr. Dooms' Day
07/06/11, 21:57 You're confusing "Star Wars" with "What's Happening?" in that "Beowulf" was based on the latter. Easy mistake, I know; but "What's Happening" is the one where, if you mess with Raj, not even Rerun (Hrothgar) can save you from his mother. |

Namor: Dr. Dooms' Day
07/06/11, 17:23 That's only because you have a soul. |

Every anime opening ever made.
07/06/11, 15:54 "Big O" at 2:57. I was worried there for a second.
Also I spotted "Cowboy BeBop" four times, and "YuYu Hakusho" once. Now someone please drop some toothpicks on the floor. |

Dirty the Pooh
07/06/11, 08:10 I laughed a few times, I am a Philistine. |

The Big O
07/05/11, 09:44 I say the city is more of a shared virtual reality world, and people are conscious / awake in the VR world to various degrees. Contradictions and implausibilities (such as how nobody but Roger Smith ever visits the subway system) are "smoothed over" by the fact that most people aren't particularly awake. Every now and again someone wakes up fully and, as far as the Paradigm City inhabitants can see, goes nuts from having their memories return. |

Mortal Recoil
07/05/11, 00:13 They do go out of their way to remind us that Ice King is motivated by loneliness.
If you want to be one of those insufferable parents who talks about TV with their kids, Ice King is a cautionary tale about what happens if you don't take turns and share. I don't recommend the "mean people just want to be loved" moral; the implication of that one is that, either you are giving mean classmates another chance all the time, or else you are part of the problem. |

The Thing: Lights, Camera, Action
07/04/11, 03:32 Poor Rusty Venture, he doesn't like to talk about what he did for money after his cartoon tanked and there were issues with his inheritance. (He auditioned for Benjy Grimm and got Ronald Radford.) |

Jon Voight Discusses The Obama Administration
07/02/11, 13:15 Bush being an idiot didn't contradict his being able to cause a lot of harm; at least half the damage Bush caused was because he couldn't be assed to worry about consequences.
The only part of the Bush administration that demonstrated any genius was the PR machine, but even that didn't take much brilliance: appeal to the common man's gut rather than his intellect, never admit error, and demonize your detractors. Pretty much the tactics the GOP has been using for decades. The fact that it succeeded for so long says more about the American people than the supervillainy of the Oval Office. |

Something goes wrong in The Sims 2

Conservative activists trick liberals into hating freedom!?
07/01/11, 02:27 These folks should probably have asked more questions about what the ban entails: should Beck be prevented from broadcasting under any sort of "news" label, seeing as he makes no effort to be factual.
Oh well, as we all know, Glenn Beck raped and murdered a nine-year-old girl in 1990. There used to be a web site about it and everything. |

Wormface
06/30/11, 17:19 This gets funnier every time I watch it. And to think I ignored it for ages because I assumed it would be the Don Scardino clip. |
 |
Tracy Jordan sure enjoys his cornbread.
06/30/11, 11:02 There is much joy to be had in "Bossypants". |
