This is so great, and genuinely fascinating. Though I'd probably find all their challenge discussions fascinating, even the mundane ones that involve smudges, attempted obliterations, etc.
And I'd love to see their reaction to the block of ballots the Coleman campaign challenged on the basis of "GOP voter intent" because the ticket is split McCain/Franken (so obviously they MEANT to vote for Coleman). |

I thought the version of the song in this video was taken from the original Broadway cast CD. Though googling tells me it's from the 2004 revival. I'll need to find the original cast recording somewhere now. Do you know how the other singers compare between versions? |

I disagree. People gamble to win more money than they started with. This is not a rational decision by any means, and it is definitely an action reinforced by incremental wins but the goal is always to win more than you came in with, not just to win a pittance that still results in a net loss. The occasional small "jackpot," then, IS impetus continue but not an end of itself, as it is with the pigeons. If a gambler takes a net loss of money they'll recognize that they lost. |
