Yes I typed dude without thinking, I don't usually use it with respect to girls but I consider it a generally gender neutral term. Sorry.
Anyway. Even if you don't think so much rides on this election, Clinton's rhetoric certainly painted that picture. Not to mention the fact that her platform was diametrically opposed to McCain's (and nearly identical to Obama's). If her die-hard supporters are willing to completely disregard every substantive issue and policy at stake in this election, in favor of some vengeful spite-vote, fuck them. They are children in adult bodies. I can understand Clintonites feeling disappointment, even anger -- this was the greatest political upset in recent history. But this behavior doesn't help anyone. |

None of it changes the fact that voting for "retribution" -- when our nation's economy, infrastructure, security, and standing in the world, among other things, all teeter on the brink of destruction -- is the most insanely childish and self-absorbed thing someone can possibly do. These people should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. To put their own spite ahead of everyone's well-being... the mind boggles. |
