The Japanese Tradition-Chopsticks
10/01/07, 02:19 I love these videos. |
 |
Take that, Professor Strawman!
10/01/07, 02:15 Not to mention that the world being flat and the number of computers needed worldwide were not statements of science. (And people didn't actually believe the world was flat 600 years ago.)
Also, science didn't change, the scientific understanding of the world changed. The modern scientific method has been entirely UNCHANGED since the 1600s, and before that even the ancient Egyptians made use of scientific principles in doing medical diagnosis (according to wikipedia, anyway). |

Cat Gets on the Treadmill
09/15/07, 22:47 I like that when she finally does get on, she's more interested in the camera than the ball. |
 |
つぼみ?!?!
09/11/07, 03:20 Great, now I'm going to die in 7 days. |
 |
Oh Ratigan
09/10/07, 10:11 I don't want to drink that fruit punch. A mouse was swimming in it. |
 |
Shinjuku Skyscrapers Timelapse
09/10/07, 10:10 Leave it to the Japanese to turn something beautiful and profound into a game show segment. |
 |
Nada Surf - Popular
09/10/07, 10:08 I vaguely remember when major-label CDs were only $11. |
 |
Bill Nye - Smells Like Air Pressure
09/02/07, 12:05 Wait, I thought this song wasn't supposed to make any sense. |
 |
Citizen Candy Man: A Chocumentary
09/02/07, 02:24 Though the bit with the Oompa Loompese consulate was fairly clever. |
 |
Citizen Candy Man: A Chocumentary
09/02/07, 02:23 WAY too long, yes. |
 |
Don't Copy That Floppy
09/01/07, 22:05 The SPA would be more awesome if they stuck to tactics like this instead of shit like SecureROM or whatever.
Also a bit ironic that they used Tetris as an example, considering that it wouldn't be until several years later that Pajitnov would actually get compensation for it.
What slogan would they use today, anyway? |

Watch It Shred: Hippie car
09/01/07, 22:00 Beetle smoke! Don't breathe this! |
 |
Vomiting Unicorn
09/01/07, 21:26 That made me want to watch G4 even less. |
 |
Will it Blend - Lighters
09/01/07, 21:26 Human remains smoke. Don't breathe this! |
 |
Lego Maniac
09/01/07, 21:24 I always thought his name was Zack too. This was aired long before I had any idea what a coprophiliac was, though. |

Korean Pizza Hut "Hot Dog Pizza" Commercial
09/01/07, 21:22 My dad's cousin's wife is a vegetarian. One time she made pizza with sliced-up vegetarian hot dogs as a topping. I think that was probably worse than this - just just barely. |

Gary Coleman loses his goddamn mind
08/29/07, 11:12 At least he's in good humor about it! |
 |
"Touch the Rainbow" Skittles commercial
08/29/07, 10:45 I love Skittles ads. The effects in this one were also done so very well. |

Joust Atari 5200 Commercial
08/29/07, 02:48 It's a shame that the Atari 5200 was a failure in the marketplace just because it wasn't backwards-compatible with the 2600. I mean, come on, the 2600's games were complete pieces of shit, even by 1982 standards. If people wanted to keep playing their 2600 games they could, I dunno, keep their fucking 2600. Or Atari could have put out a 2600 compatibility cartridge or something, for those people who really cared. Of course the lack of 2600 compatibility wasn't the sole reason for its commercial failure; it also had those terrible controllers. It's interesting that Atari repeated the exact same mistakes when they designed the Jaguar.
All this has absolutely nothing to do with the above ad. |

Metal Gear Raiden: Snake Eraser
08/26/07, 20:11 These would probably be funnier if I'd actually played these games. Did Kojima decide that they just needed to completely fill up the DVD or something? |
