I recall the cards themselves being banned. There were numerous stories of old lacey teachers confiscating them and priests condemning their makers.
That just fueled our insatiable lust for more. It was not lack of interest that killed Garbage Pale kids, it was lack of NAMES.

This clip isn't terribly good. Last year on my birthday I had the amazing experience of seeing him present this film in a little theater in NJ, I met him and he made me laugh.
Revdrew is right in that it's a comedy and a parody of art films, in the same way that some Lynch films are, but really, the movie is way better than what the critics say. It actually draws you in, which is way more than I was expecting. I thought I'd be seeing a pretentious piece of shock art. Crispin Glover is actually a pretty interesting artist and he's worth watching with an open mind for sure. He will make you laugh, he will make you uncomfortable, he will make you say WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING, and god is that a great feeling.

Come on. This kid is great. Pure kid review, done by massively insecure, awkward dork. The only thing I like is this kid's movie reviews. He also likes such shitty movies. "10,000 B.C., I love this film... It's not all this mushy crap, like romance?" And yes the relationship advice at the end is worth the price of admission.
