And Batman doesn't throw a knife at him in a fit of rage, and the whole home movies/torture segment is heavily cut and re-dubbed, and- my favorite example from this part of the movie- instead of questioning a couple of obvious hookers, it's a nice young couple out on the town for an evening of fun! |

YES! I never made it very far in this game (because it made NO GODDAMN SENSE and was incredibly easy to put in an unbeatable state without knowing it) but Rye Guy is an important part of my childhood. |

I'm only voting five stars because for some reason it won't go any higher. I've loved this stuff ever since fifth grade, where my English teacher brought a record of Price reading Poe to class for Halloween. She also had this incredibly creepy (and violent, at least for a sheltered ten year old) Gahan Wilson comic of Poe adaptations on her bookshelf. |

Really it's just the dodgy Scottish accent that irritates me and would've made it a mere four-star. Also, I am fully aware that there are black Scottish people, so this slots comfortably into "Scottish guy drinks and swears and also there is bagpipe music."
The fifth star is for the bit where he unknowingly elbows a grenade off the table and it beeps and starts flashing red. So subtle I didn't notice it until the third time I saw the clip.
Oh and he does have kind of an armor-kilt-type...thing. With a smiley face tape to his crotch under it. KABEWM!. |

Some of the best production values on a TV series ever. I bring this up all the damn time when discussing sci-fi on TV, but just watch the first episode, "The Galaxy Being." One of the best alien designs in TV history, realized in a way that still looks genuinely unsettling even today. And it has Kirby Dots! |
