Hooray, I agree with him more or less 100%. It gets all the "game" stuff right, absolutely fucking NAILS voice characterization (I want to have Mark Hamill's voice-babies) and has some truly terrible one-liners. A character actually says "now the inmates are running the asylum." To describe a situation in which...prisoners have assumed control of a mental hospital. Jesus, Paul Dini.

It kind of annoys me that they cut it to three minutes for the video. Anything less than the full length is a disservice, but 3 minutes is especially cruel- what, like five or six wouldn't have been feasible?
Still not as awful as the LCDSS "Something Great" video that sped up the song, though. |
