The way I see it, the point is that standing and talking is all there is here, and in most of the rest of the show- there's rarely any business, or "acting" with the characters, they just stand there with their arms slack at their sides and mouth off at each other. Ever since the show was un-cancelled and started raking in crazy merchandising money, they've put their increased budget to use by mounting stupidly lavish setpieces full of CGI (that still looks like ass) while totally neglecting the major portion of the show.
Sorry about the nerd-out, but as an animation buff, I have a seething hatred for this show that is totally separate for my seething hatred of its shitty writing. |
