Bojack Horseman - Chicken 4 Dayz
Season 2 episode 11 ("Escape from LA") is one of the most depressing episodes of TV I've ever seen. And you know the showrunners know what they're doing when they can make you feel like you've been punched in the gut with nothing more than a 20-minute-late deployment of the show's opening theme.

Fred also meditetsh reglerlerly.
Fearless Vampire Killers: Herbert
I'll have to give it another shot. I have a lot of time for Polanski, and the production design here is gorgeous, but this was a slog for me.
Fearless Vampire Killers: Herbert
You're looking for Carmilla, I think:
Title (It Follows)
Really kicking myself for not seeing this in the theater, even though I knew it was good from word of mouth, but seeing it alone in a darkened living room on a summer night might have been even better.
Eels - Souljacker Part 1
Video by Wim Wenders, believe it or not.
Final Fantasy Type 0 Intro
FFXIII almost killed JRPGs for me until I stopped playing (I think about 8-ish hours in, after realizing that I *still* had less control over how I played than in your average gun-corridor Modern Warfare-type game), took a break for a while, and dug out the copy of Nier that had been sitting on my shelf for a while.
And now I feel like an idiot for waiting because Nier is goddamn brilliant. It has problems (some janky low-budget animations and textures in places; a drastically compressed world, a function of making the overworld between towns and dungeons more MMO-style "open worlds"), but it also has genuinely good writing (I say good; for a video game, it's great, and for a JRPG it's fucking Proust), a likeable cast with motivations that make sense, and the best localization- not just voice acting- of any voice-heavy Japanese game I have ever played.
I just played a stretch of a couple of hours this afternoon that contained a series of short, evocative text adventures, an area that sends up the original Resident Evil, and a genuinely touching use of the word "shit-hog."
And as of E3, there's a PS4 sequel coming, developed by Platinum (Vanquish, Bayonetta, MGR: Revengeance, etc). Play the first one, though; not least because you can get it for like $15 brand new.
Manual Metro Cross
Whoa, holy shit:
Manual Metro Cross
There's not a whole lot of game there- it's a fun little playground when I'm drunk, but that's about it. I'm still glad it got made, and I'm ecstatic that Takahashi's working with Journey's Robin Hunicke on Wattam.
E3 2015 - DOOM Campaign Footage
Brown, canned melee finishers, the Hell level in another video just looks like a barren rocky valley, and I give no shits about any of these because the short "teaser" trailer is scored to a new version of E1M1. Fuck yes.

jesus christ dude just go away already
Maru is licked for a long time
My wonderful, bitchy little cat has a similar licking problem. She's a former stray, and spent an unknown time on the street- can't have been that long, since she's two years old, max, and had an owner at some point since she was spayed and chipped (with nothing but her name- way to protect your cat, assholes) and while she's mostly wonderful, she's still kind of a garbage-can alley cat and if you don't do what she wants, she WILL bite you.
Except sometimes she'll get stuck in a kind of licking trance, and cuddle up to you so she can make the bites all better.
By rasping your skin off until you decide it's time for her to move. Seriously, she will not stop otherwise- I've let her sit on my lap and lick my elbow for 15 solid minutes as an experiment.

you might want to keep an eye on HEALTH; they're supposedly releasing a new Haxan Cloak-produced album this year

WHY WOULD YOU THINK THIS WAS OKAY
I can take or leave Tim & Eric, but I fucking love Wareheim as a music video director. And Oizo, of course...
Typo, sorry: Kablam is A Lady.
This isn't my favorite cut from the 12" but I'm sick of waiting for someone to upload the title track, "Scythians," and too lazy to do it myself. Go check that out if this tickles your fancy at all; it's one of my favorite tracks of the year.
M.E.S.H. is one of three resident DJs at the Berlin party Janus (which might be over); the others are Kablam (not much out there about him at the moment, just a great Contact-sampling mix on the promoter beastonleash.biz's soundcloud) and Lotic.
Lotic did a ton of cool shit this year, like the "Damsel in Distress" mix, original productions, various blends/mashups/whatever and an Unsound set titled "Funny Games," all on his Soundcloud. He's signed to Tri Angle for a release next year, and this coming Monday (12/15/14) there's a digital-only remix package of "Scythians" with mixes from Lotic and instrumental grime artist Logos.
so uh i am done geeking out about this now i hope you like the music byeee
