The vegan movement has nothing to do with OWS.

I mean, true vegans can join with everyone but they are separate entities. I even have a story for you! Once I was at Trader Joes and this woman approached me and asked me for money. I was unlocking my bicycle (because bicycle automatically means mad bucks?) and she asked me for some money because she was an environmental wage slave for some canvassing group and she liked to treat herself to a vegan dinner once a month. I turned her down. "Really?" she asked. She couldn't believe I was turning her down.

"Yes. I can't really afford that." She looked at me, confused and not understanding my words.

"But...I just you know I do so much so that animals don't suffer. I was really hoping you would help me out."

Then I rode away.

This story illustrates nothing about an entire group of people and is only about one insane vegan middle aged weirdo who felt the world owed her something.

But see if I were to attach one person to an entire political movement, that would be cartoonish and silly.

Steering things back towards the video and this comment... she's not a regular vegan. Regular vegans are at least understandable. You can comprehend someone who doesn't want cuddly animals to suffer and therefore doesn't eat them. It's stupid, and all in their imagination, but you can comprehend it.

This lady is a raw vegan. It's like a whole other level of hippy crazy. Eating processed (cooked) food damages her and/or the plant on a spiritual level.
