EvilHomer DAMMIT DAMMIT I've been waiting for the Fatal Fury episode for ages, and now it's here and my laptop's power is almost shot and I gotta go to sleep so I can wake up early in the morning and do grown up stuff and BALRGERLBLARGELBLARG.
Five stars sight unseen and don't you make me regret violating the ethics of star-giving like this.
jangbones Hard to say exactly what makes this show so watchable, but Arino is an outstanding host. He manages to be very engaging without ever trying to ingratiate himself.
He could host the 5am farm report and I'd watch.
chumbucket Arino is a big part of it but the production and editing paces the show perfectly. There are so many ways this could have failed as a show if they just set a camera on Arino when he played without any kind of overview, play action or commentary. It's well-balanced.
Innocent Bystander Crap. I thought this was going to be the fighting game with all the dinosaurs and the farting gorilla. Primal Rage, maybe?
EvilHomer Yes, you're thinking of Primal Rage. Fatal Fury was the KoF predecessor that's mainly notable for giving us Mai Shiranui and jiggly-boob physics.
LetsFistAgain Exposing someone as innocent of the true horrors of video games like Arino, to the nearly Hitlerist difficulty of SNK fighting games is to cruel.
Cyberblah Episode 3 was NES Ghosts 'N Goblins. He can somehow act innocent, but he knows horror.
Nikon Typically when a video game boss shows up with a choral accompaniment, shit's gonna hit the fan.
Riskbreaker That warehouse looks like the perfect place to hide a body.
