gmol Hmm...I thought this was going to be somesort of flagship song either blindly supporting OWS or debunking lots of financial myths..but he really just kind of did his own thing. Stars.
charmlessman It's nice to see that he doesn't move away from the mic to breathe any more.
kwash Yup, he just kind of laid that out nicely. I was surprised he had such comprehensive knowledge of this.
THA SUGAH RAIN Except he doesn't. Most of what he just laid out there is some pretty ignorant bullshit.
gmol Well he implied that most of the US debt is owned by foreign countries, which is ridiculous; but hard to really pick out any other falsifiable claims he is making.
It's a song, and a nice one *shrug*.
Banal Intercourse The guy that sang "Chocolate Rain" has better grasp of monetary dynamics than SUGAH RAIN? Holy shit!!
baleen Yeah Sugah Rain, let's hear your understanding of economics.
baleen BTW China owns 8% of our debt. This is hardly a lion's share. Iran doesn't even come on the map, with a small slice somewhere in a bigger slice of OPEC countries. OPEC nations own about 2% of our debt.
themilkshark THA SUGAR RAIN is actually Alex Jones
memedumpster I really like this. Not just the subject matter, I like the structure of the song.
Hammer Falls A more than slight tinge of Pop Goes the World/...In the 21st Century-time Men Without Hats in this one.
I really need to get one of Tay's albums someday.
