The pancakes produced by this aren't terrible but they're a little dry and doughy for my tastes. Also, they don't seem to work well after being used for a while. They'll produce little dot pancakes and claim to be empty when the batter bag is still half-full.
One of the major U.S. hotel chains has them as part of its free breakfast. I stayed at a few right after they were installed, then again again on another trip a year later. Almost all of them weren't working right any more.
let's just remove all technique, skill and art out of making morning pancakes and let a big machine churn out conveyor-belt-pancakes for us. that sounds like the america i know.
