I must have missed the part where you load up with rubber bullets and tear gas to take on former Marines and granny.

This game is a vile piece of offensive and exploitative filth that should never see production. Conducting an australian rappel without proper protective headgear is extremely unsafe.

I like how they try to tell a manipulative, personal story about this terrifying fog-of-war of terrorists, civilians and hapless police, and then introduce godlike special forces who can kill everyone involved with a clear conscience because they alone have access to flawless, inerrant intelligence on everything.
It's like this exploitive garbage is so simple-minded it wrapped around and became poignant satire.

QUICK! SHOOT EVERYONE IN THE BOMBER'S KILL ZONE TO MINIMIZE CASUALTIES!

Just as a reminder, Tom Clancy has never served, in any capacity, in the military. He is just another gutless armchair weenie with a hard on for killing brown people and/or Russians with his Mary Sue fantasy bullshit which explains his myopic, limited world view where everything can be solved by a president who gives himself unilateral powers to kill anyone and bomb anywhere he sees fit.
This game is not at all outside his socially retarded political views which, for some reason, he was allowed to expound on at length all over TV in the months after 9/11. I doubt he was involved with the development of this plot (especially now that he gets paid millions to farm out his novels to ghost authors who probably make a fraction of what he does), but he's probably rubbing one out to it as we speak.
Actually, Clancy has pretty much zero involvement in any game with his name. He literally sold his name to Ubisoft a few years back, besides the fact that the games already made had nothing to do with him other than branding anyway.
You aren't wrong, but blaming Clancy for where the games are going is like blaming Darwin for where evolution is going.

That article says "here's the future of non 'follow me' COD style gameplay" and then goes on to show one long scripted series of quick time events?

I love how OWS in the minds of all the libtards here suddenly gave them all "permission" to be worst conspiracy theorists than Alex Jones.
You guys, lol.
I don't know, if you could see how utterly hypocritical you all looked.
