Same here. WTF, memory? Letting me down again?

I used to watch this show too. Its pretty simple explanation as to why we don't remember this intro. The earlier intro was far more memorable, and I'm sure we all gave up on this show by season 7. Really 7 Seasons?

Can I has cartoon cat?

You only saw this theme song if you watched season 7 during its original run in 1994. The syndication package only goes through mid season 5. And the makers of the DVD set had the sense to leave out this version of the song.

As far as patronizing early 90s raps are concerned, this wasn't too bad.

Not even the singer gives a crap about Garfield anymore. His output is every bit as laconic as Garfield is energetic. Or funny.

While watching this video I honestly thought it was a karaoke, fan project.

I have a vague memory of this song. It baffled me, the other song was fine. This one is strange and shitty. I blamed it for the show ending.

Someone needs to do Garfield and Friends without Garfield.

I love the timid "That's me." he offers. Oh really?

"After seven seasons we've said pretty much everything we can say in this spot."

I saw glimpses of Opposites Attract in this opening.
