This is why I love, watch, and still appreciate this movie. I bought it on DVD for Will Ferrel. Say what you will about Ben Stiller, but he makes good choices for actors, and maybe even good choice in friends. This movie and Mystery Men were both done a disservice with being underrated. Their mistake indeed!

I liked Zoolander, but let's be fair...it really ushered in a whole era of shitty, lazy comedies and Ben Stiller has really been phoning it in ever since.

i want to say stanley is dead wrong about zoolander ushering in a bunch of shitty '00's era comedies but i'm too tired to think about what the true culprit might be. but i know it's not zoolander.

I hate to say Zoolander is the root of the shitty 00 comedies. That doesn't mean Zoolander wasn't unique and awesome as a film. After Zoolander Stiller did Dodgeball which lead to Vince Vaughn's rise. It lead to Anchor Man which lead to Farrel's stupid shit like Talleyrand Nights and Semi Pro.
