I think the child is a physical incarnation of the mother's rage towards her boyfriend but she seemingly has control over it because she motioned for her to sit. Maybe the kid really did it to make him look even dumber. Like that episode of Pokemon with Sabrina and the incarnation of her childhood she carried around with her because she never had a childhood due to her psychic powers. They reformed for whatever reason when Ash beat her after he teamed up with a Haunter which didnt make any sense because even though Psychic is weak to Ghost, Haunter is part Poison which is weak to Psychic. And Pokemon dont evolve in battle.

I didn't get the pedophile vibe from him. I just can't believe this dork would try to pass the blame on a small child.
