Old_Zircon Ok, I know what I'm watching over the holidays.
kingarthur If you haven't seen this series, do yourself a favor. It's truly great.
IrishWhiskey I gave it a shot, thought it was only okay, but this convinced me to give it a second chance.
FABIO The first season has Jane Lynch, who is EASILY the weakest part about the show. She never actually plays a character, just a "wacky" improv performer reciting lines. You have to put the joke ahead of yourself in comedy and she fails miserably at that.
I also never thought Ron was that great but he wasn't painful.
The real stars are Roman and Kyle. Henry and Casey are decent and manage to be amusing with a relationship without going all Jim & Pam.
In season 2 Jane Lynch gets replaced with Megan Mullally (Sarah Palin clone) who is much much better.
The only disappointment was the final episode. Jane Lynch comes back and Roman is locked in a closet stoned the whole time.
WHO WANTS DESSERT This is the first thing that comes to mind whenever someone asks me what the difference between hard sci-fi and soft sci-fi is.
Billy the Poet I actually thought this bit was pretty weak. As pretentious as Roman is, he would know the difference between "hard sci-fi" and space opera.
FABIO You are as pedantic as a fictional parody character.
