Oddly enough, Equinox is the least shitty Skrillex song then that muffled jet engine sample he likes to use kicks in.

What's with the edgy jump cuts bro? Your editorial voice is confused. All you had to do was let the clip play :(

Riskbreaker - 2012-01-19

Herzog is having seizures from the music.

thank you. that would've been much funnier.

But a subjective editorial bias isn't what makes the joke funny, in fact it sort of undoes the joke of switching out the horrible silence that happens in this scene with gross dubstep, yet changing nothing else and watching how the characters react. These things are funny because you don't recut them.

StanleyPain - 2012-01-19

Yeah, the editing kills this.

Dubstep already didn't?

pineapplejuicer - 2012-01-19

...can i be the guy who doesn't know what this clip is originally from, and can someone pretty please with sugar on top fill me in?

or is dubstep just that horrifying?

The Grizzly Man, a documentary by Werner Herzog about Timothy Treadwell, a man who lived with Grizzly Bears and was eaten alive by... (SURPRISE SURPRISE!) Grizzly Bears.

In this scene Werner listens to an audio tape that recorded Timothy being eaten alive. The woman in the scene is (if I recall correctly) a personal friend of the late Timothy, who owned the tape but had never actually listened to it. Werner listens to the tape, is horrified, and asks her to never listen to it, ever. We, as the viewers, are not allowed to listen to the tape, out of respect for the deceased (or simply for dramatic purposes).

If you have not seen Grizzly Man, watch it, it's great, then feel free to go ahead and watch every other single documentary and film shot by Werner Herzog, as they are also all great.

Here is a link to another documentary by Herzog, titled "Encounters at the End of the World": http://youtu.be/5J-W86-PSZo

Enjoy!
