I don't see mutton chops, people cutting ice blocks (although you can buy them at the store) and no more than the usual amount of suspenders. I haven't seen bone-shaker bicycles (although I'm sure it's just a matter of time) and no one walking around dressed like they're from the 1800s but other than that yes everything they say really does happen in Portland if you know where to look.

cognitivedissonance I think what it does do is correctly approximate the old Henry Weinhard's beer commercials, which were ALL like this. And Youtube is shockingly devoid of them.
BHWW Funnily enough I have seen people (i suppose you could call them the dread h-word) whose self-sustaining artisinal lifestyles involve dressing like extras from There Will Be Blood.
