It's even on David Icke's website. So it must be true!

Are you fucking saying I've been eating cancer on my pizza for 30 years?
heyitslozeau
and the tomato sauce is red, so that's blood.

Some cheese is also white, so cheese may be a fungus.

I'm just sayin' watch it out there.

These fucking people piss me off. My step-father actually pulled me aside when I first got diagnosed and was like "You know you can just cure it with hydrogen peroxide, right? You just have to..."

Ugh. And for the first few months I regularly had aquintances come by and tell me about some new miracle cancer cure. As if there is only one type of cancer and it can be cured with tea tree oil or changing my pH levels (which is impossible) or what-have-you. Goddamn hippies, I'll take my chemo.

And look, I'm still alive, two years later, blow it out your hairdo 'cause you work at Hardees.

Also, I saw my fucking tumor. It wasn't white, it was blackish, because it was melanoma.

I really think the medical system, in general, needs to inspect how many people are receiving poor medical treatment due to people like this. Isn't there some sort of law where if you go on television and spread false information which may eventually lead to a person attempting to self-treat cancer and eventual death, you can be held responsible? The government needs to stop people doing things like this, but alas, SOPA and PIPA are what we got instead.

Are you saying that the free market doesn't know best?!

@Redford: You're seeing what I think is referred to as the Dietary Supplement industry. As long as you're not marketing your miracle substance as a drug, nor are you making any direct claims about its effects, you can sell pebbles as some kind of "natural supplement" in drug stores anywhere. Hell, since kids below the age of 5 can't take most cold medication, the stuff that's brewed up for them and sold in Walgreen's (that isn't motrin or ibuprofin) is all FUCKING HOMEOPATHIC.

Watching a lot of the "cure" sales pitches are a lot like listening to Bush Administration speeches trying to tie Iraq to 9/11. They never directly say "Iraq was behind 9/11," but by putting them in sentences close to each other, they duped millions.

Not to mention this sort of magical thinking about cancer probably contributed to Steve Jobs' death. His cancer was among the more easily treated, but he wanted some "alternative" to science, so he wouldn't have to experience icky stuff like surgery.

memedumpster
The first step would be stripping the license to operate from any health care conglomerate (like Humana) who also profits from shoveling homeopathic crap, like Humana does.

SDAusmus
A good friend of mine had to watch her father suffer even worse than he would have because her crazy brother convinced him that the EVIL medical industry was going to pump him full of poisons just to line their pockets and he'd be way better off using crystals and herbs and magnets and shit to treat his cancer.

I'm sorry you had to deal with that Twitch.

The worst thing about this nonsense is that by claiming the cure for cancer is obvious, found in the kitchen cupboard, and pretty much a do-it-yourself project, it implicitly shifts the blame for the illness to the patient.

spikestoyiu
Twitch, have you been taking your colloidal silver???????????

StanleyPain
This is wrong on so many levels it might possibly be the worst pseudo-medical bullshit in the world next to homeopathy.
