This man literally consumed cigarette smoke. He was a self-admitted 6-pack-a-day smoker. At 3:40 he takes a deep drag and the smoke never leaves his body. No wonder he died of multiple heart attacks at 50.
"You have to gauge that in the strange arithmetic of television, which is very close to insanity".

Whenever I hear Rod Serling speak I'm amazed by his virtuoso talent with language.
