Now I feel guilty. Its so hard to tell the difference between an autistic and a turbo dweeb nowadays. Here he is confessing to his "social mistakes" and I made fun of him. He's trying to learn from them. I think we all need to learn from him not to be so judgmental.

EvilHomer - 2012-03-14

This is why the Internet needs a Prime Directive. So people like him won't learn from their mistakes, but will instead continue to bring joy to our hearts with their lovably inept public antics.

That said, even his sanitized version is golden! This guy is awesome.

"It's alwight to a like cahtoon fo widdle giwls"

Cena_mark - 2012-03-14

All I'm saying is that this isn't the empathetic-less monster Christ Chan is. This guy is actually sincere in his apology and is trying his damnedest to act properly in our society.
When did I become the softy here?

EvilHomer - 2012-03-14

When you lost your manhood and became a brony.

But you're right, this guy is a helluva lot more sympathetic than Chris Chan. Maybe it's all the sparkle magic?

Xenocide - 2012-03-14

Manhood is an ill-defined intangible concept that is mostly used to ostracize people. It's not nearly as valuable as a Happy Meal toy. At least the toy will bring a kid some amusement for a little while. Or some hairy dope on Youtube.

That said, I feel bad for anyone who works at McDonald's this month.

Cena_mark - 2012-03-14

Its a good cartoon. Anybody who likes cartoons should like this show if their not too concerned about their "manhood." I just like the cartoon. I don't make or seek out fan-works, I don't own any merchandise, I just watch the show. I'm still a badass, I'm still in the Cenation, and I'm in the most badass branch of the United States military. So I'm really just 25% Brony.
Either way its usually me doing the trash talking while you libs would defend the nerds.

Xenocide, I worked at McDonalds during their first release of Teeny Beenies. The horror...

EvilHomer - 2012-03-14

You're still in? Phew! I heard a rumor that the Cenation was planning on deporting all the registered Bronies within it's borders, but I guess somepony was pulling my hoof.

What's the best episode to start with?

Cena_mark - 2012-03-14

Well the Chain Gang softened a little. We grew into a Cenation. Cena himself now wears a T-Shirt that says "Rise Above Hate." and also has the logo of the WWE's anti bullying campaign. So they wouldn't go around kicking people out over their cartoon preferences.
As far as an episode to recommend to non-fans, I'd say "Putting Your Hoof Down" Though its from late season 2 I think it would have a lot for non-fans to enjoy.

Chalkdust - 2012-03-15

"Read It and Weep" (season 2 episode 16). A good lesson is learned and there are a slew of great gags and character animation.

MurgatroidMendelbaum - 2012-03-15

The most bad-ass branch of the United States Military?
Congratulations for re-enlisting into the Army Rangers, or Marine Raiders, or Navy Seals, or whatever you chose. We could always use more heroes like you.

EvilHomer - 2012-03-15

I think he meant the Coast Guard is both bad and ass.

jimmicampkin - 2012-03-15

As a fan of despicable, sneaky heels, I was initially sceptical about Cena_Mark's face turn... but I have learned to embrace it, even love it.

SDAusmus - 2012-03-16

I get the feeling Cena_mark is waiting for us to take his outstretched hand in friendship just so he can pull us in for a devastating short-arm clothesline.

poorwill - 2012-03-14

This video is perfect.

Jet Bin Fever - 2012-03-14

Why yes, I would like to write a letter to Princess Celestia about that.

bawbag - 2012-03-14

This autistic brony is less broken than the non-autistic variety.

themilkshark - 2012-03-14

His poor social behavior in public earned him a complete set of toys! God smiles on him, yet again!!

Cena_mark - 2012-03-14

I was wondering about that. Maybe the manager thought it was a good way to get him out of his hair. Otherwise you'd have him returning every week to see what the toy is.

EvilHomer - 2012-03-14

The benevolent hand of the market.

dancingshadow - 2012-03-14

This warms my heart two degrees

memedumpster - 2012-03-14

This man is the Brony Abraham and will lead all his people back to the rest of us.

Follow this man, Bronies, follow him out of the desert!

Xenocide - 2012-03-14

This guy is alright. So many internet morons respond to criticism by doubling down on their idiocy and convincing themselves that their social failures make them special or superior to us filthy normal types.

This guy's not buying into that shit. He knows he has a problem and he's trying his damnedest to fix it. Perhaps one day he'll look back at this video and laugh about it with a roomful of friends who don't smell like old ham.

Godspeed, little doodle.

candyheadrobot - 2012-03-16

my sentiments, exactly.

Syd Midnight - 2012-03-20

Well that's the difference between the classic internet sperg and a person with Aspergers, isn't it? The person with Aspergers isn't being socially inappropriate on purpose, so when it's explained to them, they try to do better.

It may not work, but making the effort is what matters most, and infinitely better than someone declaring their undiagnosed genius as an excuse to be a jerk.

deadpan - 2012-03-14

I would totally not be surprised if Lauren Faust announced that the new My Little Pony show was designed with a team of developmental psychologists as a way to teach social cues to autistic people in a nonjudgemental environment. This can't all be a coincidence.

Chancho - 2012-03-15

"Yet again, God was on my side" is my new favourite catchphrase.

Konversekid - 2012-03-15

I absolutely love how he suggested writing a letter to one of the characters of My Little Pony about how autistic people get unreasonably obsessed about things and how that it is socially unacceptable to openly talk about your interests to people that don't want to talk about it with you.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2012-03-15

This man needs thewapy.

Spaceman Africa - 2012-03-15

It's purely psychosomatic.

Riskbreaker - 2012-03-15

"social mistake"

*liking a cartoon made for little girls*

American Standard - 2012-03-15

Dude's okay. Wouldn't wanna hang out with the guy, but he can take/respond to criticism and he's got the kinda mom who'll sit him down and set his straight about his obsessions, and let him in on the fact nobody wants to fucking hear it. That's more than Chris-chan was ever blessed with.

Screwtape - 2012-03-16

Criticism is just another form of input to be processed, categorized and filed away.

CornOnTheCabre - 2012-03-19

It's good to know that so many PoEtv commenters approve of this man continuing to exist, despite the fact he is clearly below their social caste.
