The Mothership - 2012-03-19

It's a school night, and I have to teach tomorrow. But I just stayed up until 11:30 watching the best damn 48 minutes in existence.

SO many gems.

THA SUGAH RAIN - 2012-03-19

Its okay baby, Tha Sugah will take care of you and Rain his affection all over that soul vehicle. But first, more yellow cartoon people watching other cartoon animals murder each other.

chumbucket - 2012-03-19

How'd all that teachin' go?

EvilHomer - 2012-03-19

You should find a way to incorporate Itchy and Scratchy into your lesson plan. Then record the results and submit them here.

craptacular - 2012-03-19

now it a good time to have a youtube video downloader app

memedumpster - 2012-03-19

"Of all the videos you have downloaded, DownloadHelper noticed you finally downloaded a video of quality! NOW would you like to donate?"

Hank Friendly - 2012-03-19

Reservoir cats and planet of the aches are my favorites

Innocent Bystander - 2012-03-19

Porch Pals 4ever!

TSR - 2012-03-19

The Cats play was spot on!

EvilHomer - 2012-03-19

Porch Pals and the Sound of Silencers. It's funny, because it's true.

Toenails - 2012-03-19

I'm pretty sure that it's not a good thing that I noticed that two clips of Itchy and Scratchy were missing from here.

Squirrel Marge and "The Happy Cat" with Scratchy crossing the street. Or did I just miss them?

GravidWithHate - 2012-03-19

"That Happy Cat" was a Scratchy cartoon; so it's debatable whether it should have been included.

You're right about squirrel Marge though.

"Roger Meyers senior, the gentle genius behind Itchy and Scratchy, loved
and cared about almost all the peoples of the world. And he, in turn,
was beloved by the world, except in 1938 when he was criticized for his
controversial cartoon, "Nazi Supermen Are Our Superiors"."

Hugo Gorilla - 2012-03-19

They didn't have the episode where Bart and friends are in the focus group (Milhouse really liked the speedo guy), the episode that the Flanders' kids' were first exposed and visibly shaken by Itchy & Scratch, and nor does this have episode 2F09 when Itchy plays Scratchy's skeleton like a xylophone, he strikes the same rib twice in succession, yet he produces two clearly different tones. I mean, what are we to believe, that this is some sort of a magic xylophone or something? Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder.

EvilHomer - 2012-03-20

The first strike caused a subtle yet tonally significant deformation in the rib bone. I have thirty pages worth of material on Usenet showing exactly how this happened.

cognitivedissonance - 2012-03-19

Brilliant American satire.

twinkieafternoon - 2012-03-19

"Look out, Itchy! He's Irish!"

Xenagama Warrior Princess - 2012-03-20

No violence is better than senseless cartoon violence.

Billy the Poet - 2012-03-20

I don't think Itey and Bitey are good influences on the kids.

Spit Spingola - 2012-03-20

Really nice animation and background artwork on the WWII one with FDR. I guess they haven't done too many Itchy and Scratchy's in the newish episodes, which was sort of a relief.

memedumpster - 2012-03-20

Really stops being good right around the time the Simpsons get an HDTV.

jimmicampkin - 2012-03-20

I liked the parts where the cat died.

Also - at 0.01 - what demented architect designed the Simpson house?
