Is that Egon Spengler?

Also, Chuck Lorre of Charlie Sheen fame worked on this as a writer. If you want to see how terrible that guy can be you can find a screed he wrote online somewhere laying into John K. and Bob Clampett Jr.

Aren't they all notorious for being dicks though?

Yeah, they're all dicks. Here's Chuck Lorre's story.

I like the part about Eddie Fitzgerald's ceaseless toadying to John K, even after being fired and abused multiple times. He's like an anal wart of animation.

Rodents of Unusual Size
I'm surprised I liked this. I usually hate everything John K. was ever involved with but this was perfectly suitable for kids. I wonder why they didn't make more...did John K. just alienate everyone involved? It seems like a pretty simple cartoon to write for.

My favorite parts are the little things. The constant puns. How the villain's bongo runs are an octave lower for no reason. The fact that Cecil is constantly extending from one of the edges of the frame no matter what the situation is.

I had this taped on VHS and used to watch the shit outta this as a kid. All I had left was vague memories of the alphabet soup river and the villain's laugh.
