the more i think about the trailer the grosser it gets. The most attention it gave to the person the project is allegedly about had HUGE EXPOSITORY TITLES SLATHERED EVERYWHERE, literally blocking out the image of the person they are documenting. I can't think of a better representation of crude documentary ethic. Instead of seeing this guy doing things, we are being told by the filmmakers in HUGE LETTERS that he does things, and these HUGE LETTERS literally prevent me from seeing the guy. A+

also, how can you not introduce his sisyphean struggle to finish Platform Masters in the trailer? IT IS THE TITLE OF YOUR FILM AND A CENTERPIECE OF YOUR SUBJECT'S LIFE. NOT TO MENTION AN INCREDIBLE NARRATIVE CONCEIT HANDED TO YOU ON A SILVER PLATTER. But yeah i guess the flood is super important. Oh yeah and you gotta make your subject look kooky with goofy music. Fuck you.
