NorCal is in its usual bi-polar season of weather. We get a streak of rain then it changes from rain, to sunny as hell every day. I'll still take it over shoveling snow just to get the mail.

I spent most of March in Vermont. It was absurdly, unseasonably warm and sunny about 2/3 of the days in a given week. The rest of the days it snowed.

Incidentally, a friend of mine who's a verteran arborist said that the number of blights and invasive insects hitting trees the past two years is completely off the charts, we're too late to do anything about it (not that most states even try), and he estimates about 1/3 of the trees in the northeast will be dead in three years.
