this movie is wonderful

While at times awesomely visually striking, this is in fact not a well-acted or made movie. Although there are some cool parts, all things considered both Harv and Wild Bill deliver 90% of their lines out of period and character, and when people arent getting stabbed its pretty boring. Somehow I have wanted to watch this again despite all the above criticisms, so take that for what it is I guess.

Worth a look to see Ridley Scott at his most primitive, watch jewish deniro and cut-rate luke skywalker try to kill each other with rapiers, sabers, and eventually handguns, or if you are a member of that weird subcategory of hipster(?) that thinks the napoleonic wars were really cool and is a big Decemberists fan. Someone please explain that one to me.
