I'm pretty sure this is a Cho Aniki game with different player sprites.
MrBuddy
It's got the combination of drawn and digitized graphics just like Cho Aniki but lacks the homoeroticism

The Mothership
Sgt. Kabukiman, NYPD should have been a way tougher boss than that.

We already did this, with annoying nerd commentary:

Spit Spingola
I turned it off instantly because of the commentary last time. Way to ruin a good thing.

This game honestly has nothing on Trio The Punch, though.
cognitivedissonance
I love his jaunty swagger.
TeenerTot
I'm...confused.
StanleyPain
Yeah it's Pi Li Ru La which is an old Taito side-scroller never released officially in NA for obvious reasons. Soundtrack by Zuntata, though I'm guessing it's not a soundtrack they get too many requests for.
duck&cover
Reminds me of Paul Robertson's work (Pirate Baby's Cabana Battle).

Personally, my favorite part of the game is when you use your super-powered screen clearing magic, random things will happen. These range from the boring (the screen flashes and everyone gets hurt) to my favorite one wherein you summon what appears to be a superhero who wraps every enemy in cling film and throws them into a microwave, instantly killing all enemies no matter how much health they have.
Koda Maja
This is to video games what Thomascow is to music.

Riskbreaker
Is basically Miyazaki on LSD
Portaxx
I wish they released this in America, just for the novelty of seeing the old "WINNERS DON'T USE DRUGS" screen in between various demo playthroughs of the game.
