Kabbage I dunno. Watching a man famous for being unemotional and distanced play a game he admits he hates right off the bat sounds like a recipe for dry, joyless snark
riedquat He puts so much work into finishing the whole horrible game and goes off into so many detailed nerdy explanations about it; there's some love in there
SteamPoweredKleenex It's also a reminder of how easy kids have it these days. In my day, we had games from Psygnosis, where the whole thing was a giant "fuck you!"
Kabbage A bit before my time - I was a child of the late NES - but Psygnosis box art is legend. Gorgeous stuff.
Syd Midnight Psygnosis wasn't so bad.. sure you're not thinking of Mastertronic? Mastertronic would publish ANYTHING, creating a horrible cycle of starving programmers writing a game every month which sold for £2 but managed to be terribly overpriced. Every 50th game was really good though, so they managed to make quite a few great titles by virtue of sheer volume.
riedquat There's actually a better review of a Dizzy game on poetv:

Jane Error He's pleasant company even when he is using punctuation.
