Always glad to see human endeavors involving space and exploration.

The "yay private companies" stuff? Not so much. They've had the way paved for them by decades of experience and research from publicly funded institutions, NASA, etc., and they're still operating under contract in any case.

Glad to see things launching, but the pseudo-libertarian stuff belongs in the same place as claims that private enterprise invented the internet.

For those who don't know, SpaceX is owned by the founder/owner of PayPal, Elon Musk, who is so libertarian he bought his own oil rig in the hopes of skirting around american taxation/business law, founding his own libertarian nation of OilButt, importing hundreds of thai pleasure slaves and launching his balls into space.
