Found online:
People who are frothing at the mouth about gays or breast feeding are more acutely aware of those things than anyone else in the world. People who aren't gay or don't breast feed don't ever think about those topics ever. Seriously, if either one concerns you and you aren't in either of those groups, use Google to find some healthier activities to take up your brain's computing cycles. I hear that quilting is both comforting and a great social activity. When you get in arguments about different kinds of stitches and fabrics, you won't be insulting a person's way of life, but you will continue to be afforded every opportunity to be a giant asshole about things that don't matter.

Gotta have something to do when the commercials come on.

There's only a handful of straight people that actually engage in this bullshit these days. When they talk about how homosexuality is a choice or pretend that teens can be "confused" about their sexual orientation you can be sure that they are gay.

I really wish that we would change the narrative around this type of thing though. I don't understand why people always try to get these assholes to decide homosexuality isn't a sin. Of course it is! Really, nothing is because there is no God, but it is as much a sin as anything can be. The only problem with these attitudes is that they're trying to force their religion on other people through violence, that's the thing that isn't okay. We need to stop making acceptance of homosexuality dependent on not believing in a god that forbids it.

Lots of things are sins, fuck, heterosexuality is a sin. No sex until marriage. No impure thoughts. Whatever, it's bullshit but they somehow (mostly) manage to let the rest of us have our legal sex. If they want to spend their little gay lives not having sex, that's fine with me. If they want to talk shit about gays the assumption should be that they are gay, struggling with celibacy, and a little confused about how far their religious decisions extend.

And we should correct them every time when they say "homosexuality is a choice". We should tell them it's actually not a choice for heterosexuals.

someone needs to direct the grandma in that post to some forums where circumcision is being discussed.

What simple backward people.

New Rule: If you're going to condemn people to Hell, you have to pronounce it "Hell," not "Hay-yoh."

Blue - 2012-06-01

I believe the appropriate pronunciation is Hay-ell.

Ed McMahon is the devil!

"Welcome to HEY-O!"

If I hear that "Adam and Steve" line one more time, I might have to smack somebody.

there was a kerfuffle in my city over a school administration blocking the formation of a gay-straight alliance a few months back. it was all over our news and there were protests out front of the school. one one of the news segments they interviewed a girl wearing a plain t-shirt that she had decorated ineptly with a permanent marker to say "TEAM STRAIGHT" on the front, and the Adam and Eve thing on the back. I was beset by the strong urge to reach through my teevee set and start strangling...

Why do news organizations give so much screen time to bigots, like in this video? Are there no dissenting voices willing to go on camera in this pig-fucking town?

big pincers - 2012-06-01

oh and in the case of the gay-straight alliance thing, the school cravenly decided to CANCEL ALL CLUBS instead of give in to the homo-fascist nazi menace. they were starting to attract national attention and potential for lawsuite, and there were some incidents of intimidation and general shittiness at the protests.

the upside: it also disbanded the school's Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter

memedumpster - 2012-06-01

Thank you for reminding me that "gay Christian athlete" used to be an A-list insult around here. The only time I've heard it outside of Kentucky is when Vince Vaughn said it.

Hay Belly - 2012-06-01

At first I thought you were being ironic with teevee but nope, lawsuite.

ashtar. - 2012-12-27

No, it's Adam and Stephen.

Old_Zircon - 2012-06-01

The queers AND the homosexuals? He really means business.

"Adam and Steve" should probably be a tag.

Nice patina on Chuck's mailbox.
