Some of the numbers are kinda misleading because it doesn't adjust for inflation, right? Of course an executive is gonna get paid more today than in 1999.

Inflation since 1999 has been about 3%, that really does not match up with the gargantuan increase in exec salaries.

This stuff is almost always adjusted for inflation (outside of internet forum arguments), the excuse that it isn't is what conservative pundits throw out first.
